About Us Acoustic Systems and Sound Attenuators Australia joined the IAC Group on 3rd August 2010 and have been incorporated with IAC’s successful NSW business, IAC Colpro Pty Ltd. Acoustic Systems were established in 1994 and specialize in the analysis, design, manufacture and installation of industrial and commercial noise control equipment. Sound Attenuators Australia, originally established in 1978, provide acoustic products exclusively for the air-conditioning and mechanical services industries. Customers of Acoustic Systems and Sound Attenuators Australia will be pleased to know it is business as usual with the added benefit that all IAC Industrial and Building Services tested acoustic products are also now available. Colpro Engineering is proud of it’s “Can Do” attitude. They help their customers comply with noise regulations, preserve the environment, control air quality as well as reducing their maintenance costs. History Colpro Engineering was first founded in 1982 at Northbridge NSW with 3 employees as a resale outlet for diesel engine ancillaries. When the suppliers could not meet the standards demanded by the directors and customers, the decision was made to start manufacturing. In 1985 the company moved to its manufacturing plant in Seven Hills with a workshop manager, one apprentice and a "Greenfield" factory floor. The justification for this particular change was "The need in the market place for a company, which could and would produce quality fabricated large diesel engine exhaust components, with a high standard of workmanship". In September 2008 Colpro Engineering joined the IAC group to become IAC-Colpro Pty Ltd. This has allowed for further expansion and increased capabilities and product range. Today IAC Colpro is a "Single Source Supplier" producing approximately 85% of the equipment that it installs. Trophy Cabinet Colpro Engineering is proud to be winner in many categories of Western Sydney Industry Awards, an initiative of NSW Government. 2000 - Environmental Management Award for "Development & Manufacture of Environmental Systems" 2001 - Advanced Manufacturing Technology Award for "Most innovative application of process technology or advanced management practices by a small or medium size enterprise (SME)" 2003 - Advanced Manufacturing Technology Award for "Most innovative application of process technology or advanced management practices by a SME" Quality Assurance IAC Colpro is accredited to ISO 9001:2000 by Det Norske Veritas, for quality assurance in production, installation, servicing and design. Colpro is proud to consistently exceed these standards.
